I believe individuals who never knew their fathers are scarred in the womb. At age 75 my birth is still an issue. Like a shadow I knew my father existed, but I never felt his touch. My life story is packaged in three commercial parts. (1) An engaging and insightfully written social change memoir, (2) a market tested mono social drama, (3) Six step father-forgiving and healing “Listening Camps” for adults and young children.
Refusing to take my silent anger to my grave, after a productive life of family, careers, land and sea rendezvous, in 2005 I chose Paris, France as my safe place to unveil my womb scar , and to create a six step father-forgiving and healing illustration for me, for others like me; especially young children.
Each component of my womb scar trilogy touches families personally. My memoir is a life from the ordinary that inspires and replenishes hope, provides teaching alternatives for emotional forgiving-healing, and create interactive dialogue for social change agents, family planners, spiritual and military communities, criminologists, early childhood educators, psychologists, social workers, and pleasure reading for families who enjoy stories about the bootstrap approach to a sensational life.
Scarred in the womb is contemporary, compellingly unique, and personally empowering. The public acknowledgement of my inner father abandonment pain, and the inherited shame is shared with the hope that it leave readers and live audiences grappling to answer the question: If womb scars are revealed and healed at age five instead of age 75, would youth deaths and violence be reduced?
